Sony announced Quick Spectral Super Resolution, a lighter AI upscaler for the standard PS5 that it says grew out of its Project Amethyst work with AMD.

Sony (opens in a new tab) announced Quick Spectral Super Resolution, a lighter AI upscaler for the standard PS5. Sony said the upscaler grew out of Project Amethyst, its AI graphics work with AMD. Marvel's Wolverine and Ghost of Yōtei are the first games to support it. Sony did not mention the PS6 in the announcement.
